Most tools make you choose between a place to write and a place to keep things. This one puts them on the same screen.
Drive files, inside your notes
Your Google Drive sits in a panel next to the editor. Search it, drag a file into a note, and it plays or renders in place. The file stays in Drive and streams through the app.
A library that belongs to the note
Upload media into your own library and reference it inline the same way. Playback position, transcript and annotations follow the file wherever you mention it.
One search over both
Notes, documents, uploaded media, remote media and transcripts are searched together, so you look for the thing itself rather than for where you filed it.

Writing
- A rich editor built on ProseMirror, with headings, tables, task lists, links and embeds.
- Every note is one markdown file on disk, so nothing is locked inside a database.
- Slash commands for the things you reach for most, and
@mentions to link one note to another. - Markdown import and export, plus image uploads straight into a note.
- Autosave with a local cache, so a dropped connection does not cost you a paragraph.
Files and media
- Upload audio, video, images, PDFs and EPUBs into your own library.
- Stream video and audio with proper range requests, and read EPUBs in the browser.
- Generated thumbnails, waveforms and remembered playback positions.
- Labels, authors, annotations and per-file notes on anything you store.
Google Drive
- Connect Drive and browse it in a panel beside your notes.
- Search your Drive for images, video and audio without leaving the editor.
- Drag a Drive file into a note to reference it inline.
- New uploads go to a dedicated FileLoveNote folder. Existing Drive files stream through the app on demand.
Remote storage
- Attach a Hetzner Storage Box, or any WebDAV endpoint, as a second library.
- List, upload, stream, download and delete remote media from the same interface.
- Remote file notes and metadata sync back into your local store.
Search and AI
- One search across notes, documents, local media, remote metadata, labels and transcripts.
- Transcribe audio and video with Whisper, then search the words inside them.
- Ask for deeper follow-up questions on a note, translate a whole note, or stream generated markdown into one.
- Search YouTube from inside the editor and reference a video inline.
Your account, your server
- Sign in with Google, or with a 6-digit code sent to your email address.
- Each account gets its own isolated storage on disk.
- Self-hosted on your own hardware. No third-party analytics, no profiling, no marketing email.
Transcription, the AI helpers, YouTube search, Google Drive and remote storage each depend on the matching service being configured on the server, so a given install may not offer all of them.
